Our second and final 2018-2019 NEA-Salina Scholarship Recipient is Michele Palmgren of Salina South High School.
Michele Palmgren teaches Earth Space Science, Physical Science, and Teen Builders Program. Michele is currently studying Administration from The Teachers College at Emporia State University. Michele states "I enjoy working with at-risk students and I am hoping to get a building leadership position in which I can work more closely with students that struggle due to circumstances beyond their control." We appreciate the support of all our partners that help make these special awards possible! Salina Education Foundation has provided over $25,000 to the students of USD 305. With SEF as a partner we know that we are on our way to building "A Quality Education for Every Student." Pictured: (L to R) Jonathan Eshnaur (NEA-Salina Co-President) Michele Palmgren.
